
David Hogg, Ph.D.
Dr. Hogg moved with his family from North Carolina to Arizona in 2021. Prior to joining Phoenix Seminary, he taught at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in North Carolina, and Beeson Divinity School in Alabama, where he also served as the Academic Dean. For more than a decade, Dr. Hogg has also served as a visiting professor at Biblický Teologický Semináři in the Czech Republic. As one of a few conservative evangelicals in medieval theology and history, his work has been published by, among others, Oxford University Press, NYU Press and Crossway. Dr. Hogg also presents his work in various contexts including conferences hosted across the United States and the UK.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Hogg was an Associate Pastor and then Senior Pastor over an 11-year period. Outside of these commitments, he has also preached in numerous locations throughout the southern United States, Canada, Britain, and the Czech Republic. Dr. Hogg and his wife Sarah have three boys and, as a family, represent three different nationalities.

Jonathan Hankin
Jonathan Hankin joined Phoenix Seminary in 2022. Jonathan brings more than 25 years of experience in leadership and leadership development. He has served in a variety of roles both in the for profit and non-profit sectors, including 11 years with FedEx, 11 years as a missionary and area leader with Pioneers in the Middle East, four years as an executive pastor in the greater Philadelphia area, and most recently four additional years in corporate leadership. Jonathan moved to Phoenix with his wife Heather, who serves as the Third Culture Kids Ministries Director with Frontiers. Jonathan and Heather have two adult children who are both married.
Jonathan has a heart for missions and leadership development. Jonathan coaches and mentors several ministry workers and develops a coaching toolkit and process for leaders at Phoenix Seminary. He serves on the cabinet and has direct oversight of Facilities, HR, Finance, IT, Communications and Marketing, and conferences.

Deborah Arnitz
Deborah Arnitz joined Phoenix Seminary in 2018 to lead the Finance department. She brings more than 15 years of accumulated experience and expertise in managing all aspects of financial reporting and accounting matters. Deborah has worked with both for profit and non-profit organizations and has spend the last seven years working exclusively with churches in Arizona. At Phoenix Seminary, she is responsible for all accounting functions, financial reporting, cash management, and budget oversight. Deborah has been married to Richard for 28 years and together they have two adult children. She has a heart for ministry and has spent over 10 years in leadership with Bible Study Fellowship.

Darryl L. DelHousaye, D.Min.
Professor, Pastoral Ministry
Dr. Darryl DelHousaye is active in the spiritual care of students, faculty and staff. He also serves as a resource to the President assisting in the development of the resources of the Seminary. Through his on-going ministry as a gifted Bible expositor, Pastor Darryl additionally serves as a distinguished ambassador of Phoenix Seminary.
Dr. DelHousaye pastored in California before coming to Arizona in 1981. He was Senior Pastor at Scottsdale Bible Church for 25 years and was President of Phoenix Seminary for 23 years. He is the author of Today for Eternity and the study notes for Acts in Nelson’s New King James Study Bible.
