Meet Dr. Steve Duby, Adjunct Professor of Theology

Home » Meet Dr. Steve Duby, Adjunct Professor of Theology

New to our adjunct faculty, Dr. Steve Duby will be teaching Survey of Christian Theology (TH 500) for the seminary this Fall. In addition to publishing at the top of his field, he is excited to teach students theology in the classroom. Perhaps a little less known about him is that he’s an avid soccer player and youth soccer coach.

Dr. Duby is associate professor of theology at Grand Canyon University. He and his wife, Jodi, have four children and live in Phoenix, where they are members at Trinity Bible Church. Steve earned his PhD at the University of St Andrews, his MDiv at Denver Seminary, and his BS from Moody Bible Institute. He is the author of God in Himself: Scripture, Metaphysics and the Task of Christian Theology (IVP Academic, 2019) and Divine Simplicity: A Dogmatic Account (Bloomsbury, 2016). He is especially interested in the doctrine of God and Christology, as well as integrating scriptural exegesis and the work of systematic theology.
